Derma Hair Care LLC is conveniently located just off Broad Street (Rt. 7) in the heart of the City of Falls Church, Virginia and is owned and operated by Honi Borden CLS, LE. Honi is a Certified Laser Specialist and a Licensed Electrologist who has been in the hair removal/beauty industry for the past 16 years. She is specialized in working with ethnic skin complexion and uses Cynosure Apogee Elite Laser (winner of both 2005 & 2006 BEST CHOICE Award) for the laser treatments of Hair Removal, Vein Treatments, Collagent Enhancement, Pigment Treatments as well as Acne Treatments. In 1990, Honi became the youngest Licensed Electrologist (LE) in the DC metropolitan area. She opened her Electrolysis practice in 2002 to better serve her clients' needs and help them become better educated consumers.

Due to personal aspiration and passion for her clients, Honi decided to take a dramatic approach by introducing the line of Organic Products to the field of Medical Aesthetics, which was a non-existent practice in the US. At the given time, still, the Medical Aesthetics field is pharmaceutical based and uses chemical products, bleaches & medication to achieve aesthetic beauty, which Honi believes is very harmful to one's health.  Since FDA does not regulate the cosmetic industry, Honi has decided to take matters into her hands by pioneering a new appraoch to the way medical spas operate. Her GREEN mission is to provide beauty aesthetic treatments from the most holistic perspective without harming one's health while keeping the environment in mind. Honi & her team provide each client with a full consultation to assist them regarding their treatments. Honi believes beauty starts within and the first step is proper & balanced nutrition.

This the reason that she has a holistic team of practitioners that works with her to better assist her client's needs. She believes in providing beauty from a holistic pespective. She is dedicated to her clients and is constantly seeking ways to improve her practice and further educate her clients. This explains her very loyal and satisfied clientele who have come back for various treatments over the years. Having a therapeutic background (Masters in Clinical Therapy from John's Hopkins University) has helped her significantly in being empathic towards her clients' concerns.

To further her expertise in the industry, Honi received mentoring from a prestigious doctor who specializes in laser treatments on hair removal, spider veins, acne treatments, rosacea, broken capillaries, cherry hemangiomas, skin rejuvenation, and wrinkles. Honi received her official laser certification from an accredited institute, the Rocky Mountain Laser College where she received her Board Certified Laser Specialist (CLS) degree.

Honi has experience using 12 different laser machines on different skin and hair types. After much research, she has invested in the best laser in the industry, The Cynosure Apogee Elite, to maximize the effectiveness of her non-invasive services and minimize the discomfort associated with treatments.
